FUNDRAISING

Support our fund raising events in Glossop and Tameside:

Street and store collections, coffee mornings, dog shows, sponsored walks, etc.

There are a number of ways you can support us financially.

Make a secure online donation - You can make a donation now by clicking on the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) card below

Donation

Regular Donations - You can make a regular donation to the Branch by completing a simple form. If you would like to us to send you the form please contact us.

One-off Donations - We are grateful for any donations. Please make cheques payable to RSPCA Tameside and Glossop, and send them to the RSPCA Tameside and Glossop Branch, Hon Treasurer c/o Hill Top Farm, Luzley Lane, Luzley, Ashton-under-Lyne, Gtr Manchester OL6 9AJ

Gift Aid - If you are a UK taxpayer you can increase the value of your donation, just by completing a gift aid form. For every £10 you donate, we will receive an additional £2.82 back from the taxman. You don't have to worry about complex tax forms, we will sort out all the paperwork. (As a charity, can claim back the tax that you have paid on your donation, at the standard tax rate). Please contact us if you would like to receive a form.

Sponsor a kennel or cat pen

The branch has a cat fosterer who looks after very young kittens or sick cats (we would like to recruit more volunteer carers) and pays for private boarding of animals brought in by RSPCA Inspectors at a cost of approximately £1,400 per year for a dog kennel and £1,100 per year for a cat pen. Individuals, groups or companies can sponsor a kennel or cat pen from £5 per month (individuals) £20 per month (groups/companies) or an annual donation from £60 (individuals) £240 (groups/companies).

All sponsorship money donated will go towards the cost of boarding animals in the branch's care.

The Donor(s) will have a plaque displayed at the boarding kennels/cattery and recieve a certificate confirming their sponsorship. And, of course, they are always welcome to visit the kennel/pen residents.

Please contact us for details of how to set up a standing order through your bank account:

Remember the Branch in your Will

By specifying the RSPCA Tameside and Glossop Branch, when writing your will, you can ensure your bequest benefits local animals. There are three ways to do this:

Residuary - A residuary legacy is the gift of the residue of your estate, or a percentage of the residue, after your debts have been settled and any legacies you leave to other people have been paid. If you leave your whole estate as a gift, this is also known as a residuary legacy. Generally, this kind of legacy is of the greatest benefit to the RSPCA Tameside and Glossop Branch, as its value increases in line with the value of your estate.

Pecuniary - A specified sum of money, decided when the will or codicil is written, is called a pecuniary legacy.

Specific - When a particular item of value is bequeathed, this is a specific legacy. This includes stocks and shares, the proceeds of a life assurance policy, property, furniture and jewellery.

Please remember to include the full name of the branch in your Will to ensure that your bequest benefits local animals in need.
